Las presentes instrucciones son para aquellos que ignoran los peligros de los IDDHI inferiores.
Aquel que pretenda oir la voz del Nada, “el Sonido insonoro” y comprenderla, tiene que aprender la naturaleza de Dharana.
Habiéndose indiferente a los objetos de percepción debe el discípulo ir en busca del Raja (rey) de los sentidos, el Productor del Pensamiento, aquel que despierta la ilusión.
La Mente es el gran destructor de lo Real.
Destruya el discípulo al Destructor.
Porque:
Cuando su propia forma le parezca ilusoria, como al despertar, todas las formas que en sueño ve.
Cuando haya cesado de oír los muchos sonidos, entonces podrá discernir el UNO – el sonido interno que mata al externo.
Solamente entonces, y no antes, abandonará la región de Asat, lo falso, para entrar en el reino de Sat, lo verdadero.
Antes de que el alma pueda ver, debe haberse alcanzado la Armonía interna, y los ojos carnales deben permanecer ciegos a toda ilusión.
Antes que el alma pueda oír, es menester que la imagen (el hombre) se vuelva tan sorda a los rugidos como a los susurros; a los bramidos de los elefantes furiosos, como al zumbido argentino de la dorada luciérnaga.
Antes que el alma pueda comprender y recordar, debe estar unida con el Parlante Silencioso, de igual modo que la forma en la cual es modelada la arcilla, lo está al principio con la mente del alfarero.
Porque entonces el Alma oirá y recordará.
Y entonces al oído interno hablará

These instructions are for those ignorant of the dangers of the lower IDDHI.
He who would hear the voice of Nada, “the Soundless Sound”, and comprehend it, he has to learn the nature of Dharana.
Having become indifferent to objects of perception, the pupil must seek out the rajah of the senses, the Thought Producer, he who awakes illusion.
The Mind is the great Slayer of the Real.
Let the Disciple slay the Slayer.
For:
When to himself his form appears unreal, as do on waking all the forms he sees in dreams;
When he has ceased to hear the many, he may discern the ONE – the inner sound which kills the outer.
Then only, not till then, shall he forsake the region of Asat, the false, to come unto the realm of Sat, the true.
Before the soul can see, the Harmony within must be attained, and fleshly eyes be rendered blind to all illusion.
Before the soul can hear, the image (man) has to become as deaf to roarings as to whispers, to cries of bellowing elephants as to silvery buzzing of the golden fire-fly.
Before the soul can comprehend and may remember, she must unto the Silent Speaker be united just as the form to which the clay is modelled, is first united with the potter´s mind.
For then the soul will hear, and will remember.
And then to the inner ear will speak
